I won this great blog candy!

Michele Kovak of thoughts of a cardmaking scrapbooker sponsored a most excellent giveaway, in fact called it the Mother of blog candy giveaways.
I feel like I won one of the sweepstakes from Creating Keepsakes or Paper Crafts magazines.

I could not believe it, but I won these cricut magazines and book, and this wonderful new cartridge.
She put in this brand new carrying case which holds cartridges, pads and instruction booklets.

There was all of this lovely French Ephemera.  Love Love it!

And all of this too, not to mention the beautiful 12x12 papers.  She was so very generous and I can't say that I never win anything any more.  Thanks Michele

Simple notecards with a French Flair!

I have been getting ready for our County Fair and Rodeo, and a Craft boutique within the fair itself called the "Country Store."  Our county is a very large county, and since we live in Southern Nevada, Las Vegas is part of this county, but the fair is in our little town.  Since it is warmer than other places usually this time of year, this is when the Rodeo Circuit starts.  I paid my dues, and got a number, so decided to get going.  I have been making sets of notecards/envelopes to sell there among other items.  Here are photos of the cardswith a French Flair to them!  They will sell for $7.00/set of four, and are approx. 5x7 cards.  I would love some feedback on these please.  To much, to little.  Anyway let's see what you think?

Here are my tags.  I am putting my business card for my blog etc. along with another tag that will be removed.  I will be showing off my other creations later.  I have one week left and I must admit, I still have lots to accomplish in that week.  The night hours will become my friend!

New cards I have made this past week!

This one can be to celebrate a new baby or even for spring or Easter.   Love the soft colors.

This one is for a special friend.  I used Graphics 45 paper, and Tim Holtz hardware, old lace and
other embellishments from K & Co.

I made this one for a sweet granddaughter who has a birthday coming up.  Love this retro graphic.

This one is for another friend.  Isn't it wonderful to get a card just letting someone know you are thinking of them?

A celebration card.  This graphic came from Graphics Fairy.

I had lots of fun creating these cards., and it took my mind off of the cracked ribs and banged up hand!  thank goodness I can still type on the computer! lol

St Patrick's day ATC swap.

Here are the St. Patty's day ATCs that I made for a swap.  I had to make 12 and every participant was to send them in to one person and she is making them into a little book for each one of us.  I have viewed some of the others and they are so beautiful.

Storytellers publishes two at once.

This was very exciting for me to learn that not one set, but two of my designs have been published in the February Ultimate pack at storytellersclub.com for which I am a designer. I have had one at a time published before many times in a month's pack, but never before have two of the four designs each month been my designs.  Here are the pictures that I take of my sets before I give them over to Storytellers and then what they look like after they are published into punch-outs for scrapbooking.

Below are the punch-outs they made from this set. . . .
Storytellers reserves the right to change colors etc. to a set once it is bought from me.

And Set number two. . . . . . .

This one was done with a "Steam punk" kind of theme.  It
is titled "etcetera"  and I used so many elements to embellish
this one.  Watch parts, hinges, metal buttons, key tags etc.
The paper that goes with it that Storytellers designs to go with the sets.  Isn't this beautiful?

But for some reason I can't get a clear picture of the punch-outs on
this one, when it is enlarged.   Darn!

Valentine/Birthday GIVEAWAY!

ANNOUNCING a giveaway in celebration of my birthday month and Valentine's Day.  I made this necklace a while back and it has been in my Etsy shop.  I really love it myself, but since it has not sold I will give it away.  It is wonderfully colorful and shabby!  Also the Vintage look Valentine card and the Vintage Doily are included.  Maybe a little bit of chocolate might be included too.

This card is one of two that I made from this using this image I got from the Image fairy.  I just love this image of this brunette beauty, and it was an actually Valentine image.

The drawing will be on February 8, 2012.  This way by Valentine's Day the winner will have the prize.  My birthday is on the 13th, so this will be a perfect day to end this drawing.  To be entered into this drawing, just comment on this post, become a follower if you are not already.  Let me know that you are a follower and for an extra chance to win, please put this picture on you sidebar linking it back to this post.    Thanks so much and have a wonderful Valentine Season!
